In the 2006 anthology film PARIS, JE T’AIME, the Coens put their frequent punching bag Steve Buscemi* in between two young French lovers at the Tuileries métro station. Except, like so much movie magic, they didn’t film it there.

I’m pretty sure the station they used was in Belleville somewhere on the M°11. It’s a less popular line and could conceivably be shut down for a few hours without as much hassle as the actual Tuileries which is basically smack dab in the center of town.
